This half-day presentation assists the practitioner in understanding and recognizing potential barriers to effective medical interventions in this population. The trainings are designed to educate physicians to have a better understanding regarding military culture, reintegration into civilian life, the impact of PTSD and TBI, and how this may present in general medical practice among Veterans, Service Members, and their Families. In addition, physicians will be educated on treatment and interviewing principles for individuals with military-related PTSD and TBI.
